Fabric is cut straight across, right off the bolt unless specified otherwise. For directional prints, prints off the grain, or stripes this may mean that the print is slightly skewed or not symmetrical so you may want to purchase just a bit more so you can refold the fabric for the perfect cut.

Fabric should be washed before it is used to remove any processing chemicals and do whatever shrinking its going to do. Some of my fabrics are prewashed by me, if so it will be noted in the listing. I wash my fabrics on warm with Honest brand detergent and I tumble dry on a normal cycle. When washing fabrics do not wash different prints together or with other items for the first was as they may bleed.

Very rarely a package is lost in the mail. We are not responsible for any package that is lost that is not insured. You can purchase insurance from me at a small fee to protect yourself. You must indicate before shipping that you wish to purchase insurance. If you purchase insurance and the package is lost we can refund you the insured amount once the claim completes. In order to file a claim your package must be missing for 30 days for US orders or 40 days for international orders. The claim then takes a couple weeks to complete.

All shipping overages exceeding $1 will be refunded at time of shipping. Because my listings are set up for different fabric lengths i.e. 1/4 yard, 1/2 yard and 1 yard options all in one listing, Etsy is not always good at figuring out the estimated shipping cost. If you are concerned about the shipping cost simply drop me a note and I can estimate it more correctly for you before you purchase and rest assured you will be refunded any overage over $1.
